DTLA ART SHOW TO SPOTLIGHT PROLIFIC ‘90s HIP-HOP PHOTOGRAPHERS

Exhibit to feature select, never-before-seen art; a portion of proceeds to benefit Art Share L.A.

WHAT:

“Ruff, Rugged and Raw”; (#RuffRuggedRaw) a special ‘90s themed Hip-hop photography exhibit featuring the legendary works of Danny Hastings, Brian Cross (aka B+), and Xiouping in downtown Los Angeles.

WHO:

Event hosted by Paper Planes Collective, a marketing and events firm, and APT.4B™ a streetwear concept shop.

WHEN:

· “Ruff, Ragged and Raw” is free, open to the public and runs Sept. 6 -10, 2017. The Art Share L.A. Gallery hours are from 1p.m. to 6p.m.

· The artist reception, sponsored by Hennessy, will be on Sat., Sept. 9, from 6p.m. to 11p.m. which will include a Q&A with the photographers.

· Q&A moderated by Tracii McGregor, former Vice President, Content & Communications, The Source.

·The exhibition will also host a gallery installation by Xiouping.
