Fly Ty brings the themes of chasing his ambitions in this handsome and dignified West Coast inspired hip- hop track. “City Slicka” offering clear concise rhymes which evokes a strength and refined style, coupled with hypnotic, infectious beats; this track openly and obstinately opposes current trends in hip-hop. Although the themes presented by Fly Ty may seem derivative at times, we see an evolution of rhyming styles and blending lyrics to the beats that have blossomed from his earlier releases. Fly Ty takes his time letting his words flow with melodic eloquence. With this maturity, we see evidence of a new generation of wordsmith taking over the West Coast hip-hop circuit.
