What hits you right away with LaLa's new album "JazZy LaLa" is everything! The overall theme of the project is definitely smooth and flows thoughout. All the instruments sound so amazing. The marriage of jazz, hiphop, and poetry is very strong here. LaLa's writing and delivery is refreshing as he effortlessly flips from rapping and singing.
The content that flows out of LaLa's mind are creative, original and very personal. On gem "Forever" he relives the endlessness of college life and wonders if he would've done it all over again or not. "SOS" speaks on the state of the artists of today and what sets him apart from the pack. "I Need Dollahs" sounds like a hiphop remix of a ragtime story about the struggle to elevate. He switches it up on new age banger, "Blood On The Leaves" where he recalls lost love. Follow @lalaboymusic
